Veterans History Project
Are you a veteran or do you know a veteran willing to tell their story? My office is assisting American war veterans who would like to submit their personal accounts to the Veterans History Project, a program of the Library of Congress.
The Veterans History Project launched in 2000 and works to collect and preserve the personal accounts of our nation’s war veterans during their time in service. By sharing their story, future generations will be able to hear directly from the veteran and learn of their service and sacrifice.
My office and I will be interviewing veterans within the 5th District of Indiana and submitting their stories to the Library of Congress. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please fill out the information below and my office will be in contact to schedule an interview at a mutually convenient time and location. If you have any questions regarding the project, call David Burian in my Carmel District Office at 317-848-0201.
